Dr. Walker has been in practice for more than 5 years. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2019 with the additional distinction of Clinical Excellence in Dry Eye. After school, she completed advanced training through a residency in Ocular Disease and Co-management of Refractive and Ocular Surgery. She is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Her clinical passions include providing personalised care for each patient, effective communication, clinical efficiency, and managing ocular disease.

As a native Houstonian, Dr. Walker feels a strong bond to the Greater Houston Area. She spent most of her life in the inner city but now lives locally in Fairfield. In order to give back to the community, Dr. Walker volunteers with Pets With a Mission Therapy Group by visiting local hospitals and schools with her dog, Pax. She shares her home with her husband, stepson, and pets. When not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family, participating in dog sports, or reading a good book.
